About Me

I've worked in offensive security in Australia since 2016, but the skills and techniques I utilise in my day-to-day work were honed over a lifetime of experience.

 

The basic goal for any social engineering scenario is to gain a desirable outcome by manipulating situations and people to your advantage. By that definition, it's clear that social engineering is ingrained in all our lives, from a child trying to stay up past bedtime, to a traveller trying to get a flight upgrade.

I was somewhat of a journeyman in my 20's, travelling the world and working in a range of industries, including hospitality, finance, photography and security. The challenges I faced in these roles forced me to be agile and reactive to a range of situations, arming me with a core understanding of a range of personality types.

With that experience behind me, I've been fortunate enough to find my niche in offensive security, a constantly evolving landscape where every engagement provides new challenges to overcome and new opportunities to learn.
